I possess a personal drive to contribute to the on-going success of Etherley Lane Primary School and the well-being, progression and advancement of its pupils. I have one child who started Reception this year and I have had the great privilege of watching her flourish under the care and guidance of the school. I have another child starting school in September so I have a vested interest and a commitment to the school for many years to come.
I currently work in Sunderland as a School Improvement Officer and have held three Deputy Head Positions, two in schools in challenging circumstances. I have also been a Governor in another school for over five years. I am really looking forward to how I can support the school to continue its journey to becoming outstanding, striving for the best outcomes for pupils.
